Cooperation

The Careers Office of Lodz University of Technology works with students and graduates, as well as companies and institutions from the business environment in mind. Its mission is to develop the careers of future specialists and effectively connect them with employers.

The office operates in three key areas:

Connecting future specialist with emplyers:

1. Organisation of industry events, including: Academic Job Fairs, Business in Practice
2. Job placement, internships and internships as well as support in recruitment processes through the preselection of candidates.  We provide students and graduates with job opportunities (permanent and temporary) as well as apprenticeships and internships (in the catalogue of offers, on the website, notice boards in front of the Office and at relevant Departments, and we send them to people registered in our database. Job posting form

Employer registration:  Adding offers can be significantly accelerated by registering the employer in the database. This way, after logginig in, when adding new offers, the data concerning the employer are automatically entered in the form. Strengthening the recognition of companies among students:

1. Organisation of events and competitions.
2. Organisation of presentations, training sessions, company meetings with students at faculties. During the direct meeting with students, you can present the profile of your company's activities, familiarise students with its mission, values, achievements, present them an internship or job offer and the requirements you set for future employees, talk about the recruitment process and the benefits of working in your company. We provide a lecture room with multimedia equipment.
3. Displaying information and promotional materials of companies at the University.

Development of professional and entrepreneurial competences and skills corresponding to the needa of the labour market:

1. Organisation of trainings, workshops, competitions, development programs, such as: “Młodzi w Łodzi” Competition "I have an idea for a Start-up!" We invite employers to conduct trainings on, for example, career planning, methods used in recruitment, self-presentation, or problems related to your business. It is important that the material presented during the training is based on your experience. We provide a training room with multimedia equipment. 
2. Conducting certified professional competency tests among students, thanks to which we are able to support future candidates in building their proof-of-concept awareness and improving professional attitudes and competences. 
3. Advisory activities including: career counselling, career coaching, as well as business consulting and business coaching. We invite employers to cooperate in the provision of services aimed at developing students' awareness of the specificity of the industry and its requirements for candidates for specialist positions.
