Regulations for using the Careers Office website of Lodz University of Technology

1) The website of the Careers Office of Lodz University of Technology is run by employees of the Careers Office.

2) The main purpose of the website of the Careers Office of Lodz University of Technology is to present job offers and internships submitted by Employers and to pass them on to Students and Graduates of Lodz University of Technology. The portal is also a platform for providing information from the labour market necessary for the implementation of the job search process and for making decisions regarding professional development. In addition, the website contains information related to the functioning of the University, including the Careers Office.

3) Everyone is invited to use the website, especially:
• students and doctoral canddates of Lodz University of Technology,
• graduates of Lodz University of Technology,
• employees of Lodz University of Technology,
• employers, training companies and labour market institutions.

4) No commercial content may be published on the TUL Careers Office website
(e.g. advertising / informing about paid workshops, conferences, etc.).

5) The content published on the TUL Careers Office website may include: the following information:
• job / apprenticeship / internship offers;
• employers' presentations;
• news from the University,
• news from the labour market;
• information on free trainings, workshops, open days, meetings with employers, conferences, etc .;
• information on implemented EU projects;
• tips, guides, recommended websites;
• information on the activities of organisations that may have a positive impact on the professional development of clients of the Careers Office of Lodz University of Technology.

6) Job / internship offers presented on the website come directly from employers. The TUL Careers Office is not responsible for the content of advertisements and other information added by employers, as well as the working conditions offered by them. The TUL Careers Office is not responsible for the quality of the materials sent by the Employers.

7)  It is forbidden to publish on the www.biurokarier.p.lodz.pl website content that is untrue, unlawful or immoral, violates personal interests of third parties and is generally considered socially inappropriate and morally reprehensible.

8) To use the Portal, it is necessary to have a device with access to the Internet with an installed and properly configured, current version of a web browser and an active e-mail account.

9) To place  job / internship offers, complete the electronic form available
on the Portal's website. Adding offers can be significantly accelerated by registering in the employers database. This way, after logging in, when adding new offers, the data concerning the employer are automatically entered in the form. Moreover, only the employer who has an account on the Careers Office portal can edit the advertisement on his own, he also has access to his archived offers. The announcement will be published after approval by a TUL Careers Office employee, usually by the end of a given working day. In the event of technical problems or the need to change the content, the announcement will be published after the identified problems have been rectified.

10) Offers or other information to be placed on the TUL Careers Office website can also be sent by traditional mail, e-mail or delivered in person. In this case, an employee of the Careers Office will place an advertisement on the Career Office Portal.

11) Acceptance and approval of the terms and conditions of these regulations takes place at the moment of registration to the TUL Careers Office portal or submission of materials to be placed on the portal by the means referred to in points 9 and 10. Acceptance of the regulations is tantamount to consent to the processing of personal data by the administrator, which is Lodz University of Technology, in order to provide the services offered by the Careers Office of Lodz University of Technology. The consent expressed in this manner is given voluntarily, consciously and constitutes an unambiguous demonstration of my will.

12) Pursuant to Art. 13 sec. 1 and 2 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27/04/2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (general regulation on the protection of data) (Journal of Laws UE.L. of 2016 No. 119.1) - hereinafter referred to as the GDPR, we would like to inform you that:
- the administrator of your personal data is Lodz University of Technology (TUL) with its registered office in Łódź, ul. Żeromskiego 116;
- the contact point for personal data protection at TUL is the Data Protection Officer - rbi@adm.p.lodz.pl, phone no. 42 631 2039;
- personal data will be processed for the purposes necessary to perform the services of the Careers Office on the basis of applicable law, concluded contracts and voluntary consent granted;
- the recipient of the processed personal data may be:
a) other entities that cooperate with the Careers Office of Lodz University of Technology in order to provide its services,
b) other entities which, on the basis of relevant contracts signed with Lodz University of Technology, process personal data for which Lodz University of Technology is the Administrator;
- personal data will be kept for the period necessary to achieve the goals set out in point 3, and after that time for the period and to the extent required by the provisions of generally applicable law;
- the person whose personal data is processed has the right to access their data and the right to rectify, delete, limit processing, the right to transfer data, the right to object, the right to withdraw consent to their processing at any time without affecting compliance with the law processing which was carried out on the basis of consent expressed before its withdrawal. The declaration of withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data requires its submission in writing or by e-mail to the e-mail address rbi@adm.p.lodz.pl;
- the person whose personal data is processed has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, if they consider that the processing of their personal data violates the provisions on the protection of personal data;
- personal data will not be processed in an automated manner, including in the form of profiling.

13) The systems and applications used by the Administrator ensure a high standard of security and protection of personal data.

14) The Regulations may be changed in the event of important reasons, which should be understood in particular as changes to the law, issuing judgments by competent authorities that require such a change, changes in the functioning of the Portal for technical reasons, changes in the current functionality of the Careers Office website.

15) The Administrator reserves the right to close the Portal, without giving any reason, after informing the Users in advance.

16) The administrator may publish banners and links of other pages of internet portals. By using such a banner or links, the User goes to the website belonging to another Administrator.
