“Coaching is a process - a combination of insights and actions - hence its effectiveness. Coaching is tailored to the individual needs of a particular client, to his current capabilities, to his specific and unique resources. Coaching is one of those disciplines that create a new chance for a person to change their life”.

What is coaching and what is not?

ICC (International Coaching Community) is an international organization that brings together coaches all over the world. We have ICC licenses. Each coach in the Careers Office has undergone training and certification according to the program of Joseph O'Connor and Adrea Lages-O'Connor. We work according to the ICC standards regarding tools, process flow and ethics.

Coaching is a process to which we invite everyone who wants to make changes in their life, deal with a problem, develop. It often happens that we have skills and resources, but we are unable to reach them or use them in a given situation. This is where coaching comes in handy.

Coaching is a process of improving professional or personal competences in an area that the client himself wants to develop. The benefits of coaching are individual because we work on an individual goal with which the client comes to us.

The formula we propose is a holistic approach, we work based on the mission, identity, values, and beliefs of the client. Coaching is a future-oriented and solution-oriented process. The main assumption of coaching - the client has all the resources thanks to which he can solve his problem. The coach accompanies the client, provides them with empathetic listening and asks the right questions. The coach does not provide ready-made solutions, does not suggest or prompt. Therefore, coaching is not counselling, nor is it therapy. The coach is a mirror in which the client can carefully look at himself.

Coaching objective

The objective is the change that occurs through a balance between insight and action.  The process is not about knowing more, but about acting differently. We work on the individual goals of the client.

What does the coaching process look like?

The coaching process usually consists of 5 +/- 1 sessions, which last 1 - 1.5 hours each. Sessions are held every 2-3 weeks. After the session is over, the client receives a development task.

Work rules

The topic of the session is always determined by the client. The coach is obliged to keep the information completely confidential.
