Academic Job Fair

The Academic Job Fair (ATP) has been held under this name since 2006. It is a cyclical spring event.

Initially, the organisers were: BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) Lodz and Lodz University of Technology. The job fair was held in the building of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (currently the Faculty of Electrical, Electronic, Computer and Control Engineering). About 20 exhibitors participated in them. It was a fair aimed only at students and graduates of Lodz University of Technology.

It was then that, together with the Department of Entrepreneurship and Workplaces of the Lodz City Hall, the idea of expanding this event and organising a large fair was created, which will also help in recruiting investors opening their plants in the Lodz region.

Since 2007 ATP has been organised by Lodz University of Technology, BEST (Board of European Students of Technology), Lodz University of Technology Careers Office, ESN-EYE Lodz, Experience Human Resource Management Student Research group, City Hall of Lodz.  In 2012, the organisers were joined by the Medical University of Lodz, represented by the Foundation for the Medical University of Lodz and the Academic Careers Office of the Medical University. The partner of the fair is EXPO - Lodz Sp. z o. o.

During the Academic Job Fair, you can also take advantage of free training courses and workshops conducted by professionals in their field - representatives of trade fair exhibitors. Topics include both soft skills and industry-related issues. In today's realities of the labour market, it is not only theoretical knowledge that counts, but also interpersonal skills and the awareness of one's own values and possibilities. Therefore, ATP is the perfect place to develop such skills.
