Sopra Steria - International Student Challenge on Artificial Intelligence

We are recruiting students in Poland for their International Student Challenge, seeking artificial intelligence (AI)- driven solutions in the following areas:

• Environment: solutions to support environmental preservation, optimize energy consumption, reduce carbon emissions, and ensure the efficient management of natural resources.
• Society: ideas and initiatives to improve the quality of life of individuals and communities, promote accessibility to educational and health services, and create a more inclusive society.
• Economy: platforms that analyze market trends and behaviors, optimize supply chain and logistics management, and connect entrepreneurs with investors and VCs for business funding. 
• Education: solutions that improve learning through AI, apps that customize teaching methods and learning processes to individual needs, and virtual assistants for educators.

Who is it for?
Undergraduate, master's, and PhD students in computer science, data science, engineering, and mathematics enrolled in Polish universities.

What is needed to participate?
Students need to:

• register from this link (<2 minutes)
• create/join a team of 2-5 people on the platform
• submit a 5-slide deck (template available online) with their solution by Monday 18 November

What is the competition timeline?

• National selection (Poland): 19-29 November 2024
• Expert mentoring for selected teams: 2 December 2024-17 January 2025
• National final pitch event and winner selection: 27-31 January 2025
• International mentoring for national winners: 3-24 February 2025
• International final pitch event in Madrid: 6 March 2025
