What is it

• Akamai Preparation Program (APP) is a free program open for students interested in IT studying in Poland.
• Online meetings will allow you to learn about the realities of work in the IT field, and prepare you to get a job in an international business environment.
• Get empowered! Workshops are crafted to teach you how to be a confident candidate, and strive in your first job.

The program consists of 3 sections:

• Soft Skills AcademyPublic speaking makes you shiver? Not too keen on team brainstorming?This series of workshops will help you find your way around a corporate environment - you'll discover its ins and outs, learn about work styles and business communication, and create your personal brand that will help you smoothly collaborate with other professionals at work.

• Land Your First JobThis workshop will get you ready for your first big job hunt!You'll take part in a simulated recruitment process - starting from CV review all the way to a mock phone interview with our Talent Acquisition team. Their feedback and guidelines will help you master your CV writing skills, build your personal brand on LinkedIn and other social media, and prepare for the real thing.

• Find Your Career PathWe get it - it's not so easy to decide what you want to do in life. Why not join our open sessions with Akamai employees, and learn firsthand about different career paths, and the specifics and requirements of their positions?
